Chairman's Statement
Since 1973, the Catholic Church in the United States has observed October as “Respect Life Month.” This year, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of Arlington, chairman of the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities, calls on Catholics to renew their commitment to the legal protection of human life, to support policies and service ministries that assist mothers, and to extend compassion to those suffering from participation in abortion.

- Join Our Life Chain:
Join Sacred Heart Church and St. Eleanor's Church on Respect Life Sunday, October 6th at Main Street & 6th Avenue, Collegeville between 2 pm - 3:30 pm
Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful stand for life that occurs in cities and towns nationwide on the first Sunday in October. We stand in remembrance of 65 million plus lives lost to abortion. We pray for our nation, for people in crisis situations and for an end to abortion. Signs and prayer suggestions are provided. Small children, with close supervision are welcome. Everyone who believes in the protection of preborn children and their mothers are urged to attend!
40 Days for Life Campaign: Sept 24 thru Nov 3, 2024You are invited to participate in the 40 Days for Life Campaign Prayer Vigil at Planned Parenthood Center in Norristown located on Wood and Powell Streets.
Saturday, October 19th: Please sign up for an hour of prayer. This year we are partnering with St. Eleanor's Parish.
Sign up sheets will be available the weekends of Oct 5/6, Oct 12/13 in the Café after each Mass.
